Actually in an article someone just posted out of Boston paper, it said the samething.

Yes, he would go to Boston for Williamson, and then be immediately turned over to the Rangers as part of the A-Rod package. This is according to the story link on the 'Commish to get involved?' thread.

Damn why do we end up giving up more. I do not like this idea of giving up Cotts. We are losing Maggs already and Nomar doesnt want to be here in Chicago so why spend too much to get him. I heard on ESPN Nomar wants a deal around 15-20 mil/year and Im pretty sure we are not paying that kind of money.

I wouldn't think that Cotts would be in this deal, but then again you never know. Iread the same thing as others and that was Dan Wright and Maggs and then Wright goes to texas. I just hope that if this cluster comes to fruition that the Sox are not the patsies used to make it happen. You just know we will be the losers again.

Something about Dan Wright strikes me that he will fit right in as a Texas Ranger. What with his patented spike ball, 4 pitch walks, and 2-3 HBP per game I think he would be the ace of the staff.
