January 9, 200422 yr id rather have a hole at first base, than " THe SHow" being our 4th starter.... that would just suck I agree about "shoey." I still don't think we have a hole at 1st. I don't see what's the big deal about thomas playing there. He played there most of his career with the sox, and even though he has little range, can still get get a ball here and there and his batting average is off the charts when he plays 1st. He wants to be in the infield and I think it would be a smart move. Then you can put lee at dh and put reed in lf..

January 10, 200422 yr if the sox get washburn, then there is n way schoenwies can start...buehrle, washburn, and him are just too similar...i'd personaly let Rauch and Diaz battle for the job,and even throw Honel in the competition just to make his Spring Training worth while.
