Im counting on Koch coming back this year and regaining his form from 2 yrs. ago and Cotts could push this deal in the sox favor if he pans out. My only problem with Marte being closer, is that he was so damn effective in set up. It's almost a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type of thing.

Even if he bounces back this year, if the Sox don't make the playoffs, this trade has to be seen as a failure based on its original intention, regardless of what Cotts does.
