LDF
then can someone tell me why not reggie sanders?
mac9001
He could come cheap (1mil or so), but does he have enough range? I think if the Sox's really wanted they could get Beltran (KC) fairly cheap.
Soxplosion
Beltran or Sanders, either one would be great but I have the same question as mac. Does Sanders have the range to play center?
baggio202
is sanders a lefty,,maybe a switch hitter???..whoever we get has to be able to supply left handed power

Prolly not Rauch or Honel........... more along the lines of Malone/West, and prolly a guy like Rowand or Harris. That being said...... I would love Beltran. mac9001
He's going to make close to 6 mil this season, he wants a 10 mil per year/4 years deal next season. KC can't afford him and he's already said he wants out of KC, there tring to trade him and just like with Colon there not gonna get s*** for him. Something like Josh Stewart and Tim Hummel would get the job done.

mac9001
Beltran, he said he'll only sign with KC for 10 mil per season for 4 years. CRAZY!!!
MurcieOne
Beltran, he said he'll only sign with KC for 10 mil per season for 4 years. CRAZY!!! Thats because he hates it in KC. Hopefully he'd take considerably less somewhere esle........ like here!
soxfan420
he would have to do alot better this year to get that contract unless maybe with the yankees. But that is probally only for K.C. he would have to be compensated for playing on a 100 lose team.
supernuke
I believe Beltran's agent is Scott Boras so it's not likely that we would go after him.
YASNY
I doubt that KC would trade him within the division. Just a thought.
