Stones at the United Center...

Featured Replies

Did anyone else go last night? Not as good as they were at Comiskey in September, but it was OK.

the concert last september was great.

The United Center acoustics are horrid. What was the sound like?

We were 1st row on the 200 level right about mid court so we had speakers near us and could hear fine. One thing that was better was that we were closer to them versus Comiskey. When they went to the remote stage they were right in front of us so that was very cool. But for some reason the song list sucked. It was so unmemorable.. I don't remember half the songs they played.

thanks for the review.

The set list in September was pretty damn good. Of all things however what I remember most is Jagger breaking into Love Train. Maybe it was because I never expected to hear the Stones sing an O Jays song, I don't think I will ever forget it, it was so surprising.

I would imagine by this point of the tour it most be routine to them again. A great thing about September was that it was all new and fresh and the Stones were so into what they were doing.

thanks for the review.

oh come on now you just enjoyed it alot more cause of the company you were in ....lol...............actually i was quite surprised at how great the sound was in comiskey...kinda felt funny though sitting there without the sox taking the field.....my kids still talk about that concert today as if it just happened.... for their first concert it was awesome...........all i can hope is that when i hit micks age i can still bounce around like he does........... :D

of course I enjoyed it because of the company!

Hey I went to a concert last night too, it sure as f*** wasn't the stones though... :D

:puke The Rolling Stones

They suck. Give it up already. Pay hundreds of dollars to see 4 old geezers prance around on stage trying to be 18 again? Get real.
