I guess those 158 schmos believe that $1500 is just fine for ticket pricing and dealing with losing seasons are acceptable. Of course, like the Cubune is ever going to allow any negative pub on their newspaper.

BTW, I voted for the Blackhawks. Those poor guys have suffered long enough. Though if Reinsdorf wants to sell, I surely wouldn't stand in his way.

What's most surprising is the way they have the sox ranked in comparison to the bears. That's probably just from there being more numbers of bears fans.

I'd rank 'em like this... Taking into consideration thier team status and structure.

1. Hawks - They're becoming the Clippers of the NHL

2. Sox - Jerry's not going anywhere anytime soon, and the fans aren't showing up anytime soon either.

3. Bulls - Krause really blew it with his recent picks, not to mention the image he created.

4. Bears - with thier Current situation, Ted Phillips and JA at the helm, they are a more stable franchise, with a goal and a new stadium. Plus the McCaskey family is likely to sell the franchise in the next few years.

5. Cubs - Sure their ownership rips off the fans, twice. But thier current roster moves show a commitment not just to get back to the post season, but DEEP into the postseason.

While the sox ownership is pretty damn awful, the hawks are way worse. This town, myself included, would actually care about hockey if it wasn't for Wirtz

Have you noticed that Hawk fans aren't getting ripped in the press for not showing up, and Sox fans get it all the time?

The Hawks are the team that "needs" new ownership more than the rest. However, I'd prefer to see the Sox have a new owner before any of the other teams.

After the way Hawks ownership has f***ed over the fans all these years they have no right to b**** and cry about the fans not showing up.

I can't disagree with you. I just thought it was something worth pointing out.
