The email had only been modified to disable the link, all spelling is exactly as it appeared... I know it's not the Nigerians, They at least use correct spelling and speak something that resembles english...

I still don't know what "pcsoers" is

Edit: New best part... I just noticed who the sender of it was... although it showed up as Citibank the email address is robertl@britneyclub.com

Edited by The Cheat

Chisoxy, I sent you a PM ;)

I don't want other people to get ahold of that valuable link.

In other news I sent him a reply containing my own version of the Nigerian Email Scam.... I'm waiting with baited breath for the reply...

While searching for a sufficient template, I found this link on the ISU site... Yes THE Idaho State University...

http://www.nigerianscams.org/

Not only is the website design professional and innovative, but for $50 bucks they can verify whether your email is in fact a valid Nigerian Email Scam.... I feel so much better that the ISU site linked to such helpful imformation.

I still don't know what "pcsoers" is

I think that should read "process".

I'm trying to help 'cause it is important to me that people understand what they need to do.

If you have any questions email me at robertl@britneyclub.com, thanks.

Anyone seen Mystic River yet?

I'm planning on seeing it Thursday night and wondering what to expect. I heard Robbins was pretty good in it.

All those misspelled words allow it to get through the spam blockers.

Yeah, you're kidding all right...just about it being new for them. They have been at that for years.

It's actually one of the many vulnerabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

A malicious programmer can put a link in the email that LOOKS like it's going to a place like http://www.microsoft.com but it will actually go to something like http://www.microsoft.com%90@www.somephisherswebsite.net.

The link will look fine and the address that shows up once you click on it will also look like http://www.microsoft.com. The only way to tell that it is not legit is the missing slash at the end. If it was real, the top of your web browser would read http://www.microsoft.com/
