HDTV

Featured Replies

My family is looking to buy a HDTV within the next week or so, and I wanted to get your opinion of what you think is best. What do you have and do you like it? I am looking at a Mitsubishi WS-55313. My only restrictons are that It needs to be under $2000 and I would prefer 52"-55". Any help you guys can offer would be great :)

Note: With the baseball season around the corner, I just e-mailed Wide Open West (my cable provider) and asked if they would be offering WGN-HD in the near future sice Cubs and Sox home games will be offered in HD. Thier responce was: "At this time WOW! does not have immediate plans to add WGN HD. That does not mean that we will not add it, but simply means that it is not in our immediate future." THat blows.

Mitsubish makes very good tv's, as does Hitachi, which is usually cheaper.

Haven't look at tv's in a while, but I know Sony has some really sweet tube tv's that are HDTV ready. They are only up to like 40 inches though.
