Wright and Cotts Pitched Well Today

Featured Replies

Big Props to Neil Cotts for plunking Nic Johnson. Gotta stand up for your guys.

I doubt he did it on purpose, when you drill a guy you do it on the frist pitch, not the 4 or 5th.

As good as Cotts was yesterday I don't think he has much of a chance to make the team. Ozzie seems to like Wright a lot, and the Sox's want to hold onto Grill, so he's a good candidate for a bullpen spot. I think the Sox's staff is pretty much set.

Me too. I'm thinking Grilli might be the 'Glover' this year.

These other guys have to pitch, the 12th man might sit for a week or 12 days without getting in, plus if you don't keep him he goes back to the Marlins.

Department of Accuracy II: It's Neal Cotts, not Neil. And he plunked Nic Jackson, not Nic Johnson.
