I've always had a soft spot for Veeck.

 

I wonder how life as a Sox fan would have been if DeBartola had been allowed to buy the team. I have a gut feeling, it would have been good.

    Anything to get my mind off of yesterday. We have had steady ownership through the years. I believe CW has some insight about the Allyn regime.

    Veeck is an easy choice for those who forget how he continually traded away or gave away our futures both times as owner, selling out our future to sign old and cheap players and pay his bills and paying his bills was always a higher priority than the team on the field

    I became a SOX fan shortly after birth in the Veeck era so I think that makes my choice obvious.

     

    Charles Comiskey was a BIG FAT A-HOLE in my opinion.
