February 8, 200323 yr Funny that this thread came up, I was just flipping through the channels, and stopped on Sportcenter, the BBTN guys were talking, and Tim Kurkjian said he "loves the sox" this year, with Colon and Buehrle, and when the question was asked, who will be this years Anaheim Angels? he said The White Sox and the Cubs could be this years. the final question asked was what are you looking forward to this season? Gammons answer was "The city of Chicago, he 'loves' the city, and thinks The Cubs and Sox will could have a good summer to watch" Even though all of you guys hate the ESPN guys, it was nice to actually hear some good things about the Sox this off-season, or any talk of the Sox at all, being out here and all. Check it out if you can catch a replay tonight...
February 8, 200323 yr this town would burn to the ground....winners and losers partying in the same city???...one where there hasnt been a winner in 86 years now...with todays sports climate where the losers seem to feel they can go out and destroy their own town with random acts of violence this would be the all time show stopper...it would make soccer hooliganism look ghandi - esque

February 8, 200323 yr how bout June AND october..and any other time we play them That's quite impossible when the Cubs are going to be nearly the bottom-feeders of their division. If it weren't for Milwaukee, they WOULD be the bottom-feeders of their divison. The Cubs are always gonna suck, and nothing's gonna change from that. The Sox, on the other hand, will have a better season than 2000. I could see them going all the way.
