Honestly, I think it's just become a way of doing things if you're a Sox fan. "Why are we playing like dead dogs?" "Because Jerry Manuel left his footprints." Paul Richards the 2nd time - would he fall asleep by the 5th inning? Gutteridge anyone? Kessinger? Bevington? JM got us a division title ( yes I know anyone could have managed that team) and one of the better records in our history It's not the way all us do things is all I am saying. We could still keep on arguing about JM or we can move on. The Sox for me is much more about moving on. Good article you wrote though and thanks.
