February 14, 200323 yr Another one of those guys that doesn't want to give up. Yeah, I can't help but feel the same way.....but, you never know...last year with the Sox he did win more games than he lost (9-7), had a respectible era (4.31) and actually maintained his career k/ip ratio (+8 per 9)...so who knows? ...maybe he can give em 10-15 wins if his arm can hold up....
February 14, 200323 yr I'll say one thing, the guy knows how to win. Even if he were to just be a mop-up reliever and occasional starter, I can see where he could be valuable to a team, especially one with a bunch of young pitchers.
February 15, 200323 yr Being he was out of baseball last year, I wonder how much he has left. He defintely would be good as a mentor for a young pitching staff.
