Dan and Terry are ripping the Cubune over their coverage of the Shooting.

How did they cover it? I just got in to work. I'll scan the posts as well.

They said that the Trib has the story at the bottom of the Metro section (in contrast, the Sun-Times has it on Page 1). Also, the same guy that wrote the story about the incident in the Trib also has a "fluff" piece about what a great atmosphere Wrigley is (they're saying the piece may have been written days prior to this incident occurring). They're saying the Sun-Times dispatched Telander to cover this story, and how he was amazed how the area remained a party scene in spite of what had happened.

Cubs can do NO wrong.

Don't ever forget that.

It's nirvana over there.

Let's also not forget that they have SEVERAL media conduits, so they can spin it anyway they want and get the masses to believe it. Because, after all, the media is supposed to report the truth so people believe what they are told. When the MEDIA is allowed to spin it then they will get the masses to believe it. I just HOPE the other 2 newspapers in town do a bang up job in gathering fact and get the truth out there.

Do you hear this lady talking about threating to wash the other teams players out with soap when they swear.
