My view on the season thus far..

Hey guys. I was reading in the paper this morning about how much the middle of our line-up has struggled. Thomas, Lee, Konerko and Crede all went 1-14 yesterday. However besides our big boppers going 1-14 we almost pulled off another win.

To me the Sox are not playing solid baseball right now. We're simply not hitting, but we're still sitting at the top of our division. I feel extremely optimistic to what this team can do once they get it all together.

Once we start hitting, I honestly feel that we will run away with this division.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, that we usually havent been a team that gets off to a good start, we usually start kicking some ass when the weather heats up in June and July. Hopefully the trend continues in 2004. :headbang :bringit

Very good point.

When Thomas, Mags, Lee, and Paulie get going holy s***, watch out.

Let's just hope they heat up soon.

The problem is every single year they all go into slumps together. Eventually hopefully this year the sox will be able to trade pauly or carlos for a solid pitcher to break those 4 up. What I would really like to see is carlos get traded, bring up reed to play left, put willie in center and move jose down in the lineup that way the sox would have more left handed hitters and break up those clump of right handed hitters down in the lineup.
