Anyone get ESPN insider?

I heard on the score this morning that the Sox may be looking at Tom Glavine. I am sure the Sox can get the Mets to pay some of his salary in a deal. Isn't Glavine near 90 years old though?? Sheesh.

Glavine's havin a pretty good season in New York so far, 4-2 with a 2.4 ERA. He's 38 though, prob could go like Jamie Moyer has for the next 2 years though. Depends what the Mets want for him, mayb a starter prospect? :o

Think they would take Danny Wright and Jon Rauch?? LoL

He'd come cheaper than Garcia as far as prospects are concerned. But three LHP's in the rotation who have similar stuff doesn't make much sense. A RHP like Garcia, who can go deep in games and get a lot of K's, makes much more sense even if the Sox have to overpay.

But whatever salary comes with the SP, another Sox salary would have to go.

I would think the Sox may try to shop C Lee for Garcia. Seattle is in need of a big hitter.
