February 20, 200323 yr Sorry Baggs, I don't agree with your assessment of velocity although I do agree that Wright has just as good of a shot as Garland at winning the Cy Young. you dont agree with me???..what are you a dumbass?? hey if we all agreed it would be real boring around here..lets hope they both win a cy young
February 20, 200323 yr Author Let's hope so. I do think Jon has a better chance, though. As I have said in the past, he has a lot more potential than Danny in my opinion. I'd be happy if both of them won it, but I think Jon has a more realistic chance than Wright.
February 20, 200323 yr I actually think what baggs meant by his 96 MPH comment(if I may take the podium here for baggs for a moment) was that Wright doesn't fatigue as easily as Garland doesn. He has more endurance and keeps his good stuff longer than Garland keeps his. They are both young, talented pitchers....let's just hope they turn out to be something.

February 22, 200323 yr Jon's got good stuff, but I dunno if he'll be the best pitcher in the league. You can't say that about any pitcher. how bout a link to the article? Well, first off, the Cy Young isn't for the best pitcher -- it's for the best pitcher on a team that is in the playoffs (unless someone has an absolutely stellar season). Secondly, it will be hard for Jon to win the Cy Young for the same reason that it's going to be tough for Frank or Mags to win the MVP -- a teammate (Mark Buehrle) will take some votes away from him.
