The situation they offered included a 1 month stay in an ICU--that's not a high quality of life. If it was me out enjoying life no. But if it was me stuck in an ICU with my fam coming everday to cry yes. No need to make people grieve twice.

I have no desire to become a decrepit old monkey skeleton. I would rather have years taken off of my life than to become old arthritic, on a million drugs, and depressed all of the time.

I would hope for a quick death. A long drawn out death would be very painful for those around you and maybe for yourself. Also, it is very expensive to die slowly in America.

But you already are, have you looked in the mirror lately?
