redandwhite
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1805818 The Golden State Warriors have nailed down the hiring of Stanford's Mike Montgomery as their new coach, an NBA source confirmed to The Associated Press Friday, and are expected to introduce him at an afternoon news conference. I feel bad for Golden State. I had to go through with the bonehead college coaches in the NBA once with Rick Pitino and we all know how that ended up. How many seasons until he's fired? 1? 2? No question, but in that same sentence because he went the way of the dollar bill, he's also one of the worst NBA coaches in the history of the game. Lucky for Pitino there's Tim Floyd for comparison sake.

southsider2k5
Well Montgomery will get his huge contract and then go back to the college game rich as hell. What does he have to lose?
