i dont really think this has much merit to it. And even so, i dont think it would have become known by now. But, thats just my opinion

This sounds like some teaser to a segment on Fox News Chicago:

However, if caught early it can be cured with antibiotics.

No worries here. If I ever have a pussed filled boil surface on my neck I'll be quick to seek medical help.
