Half price Tues was the 2nd biggest draw of the week:

Tues: 22.4

Wed: 18.2

Thu: 14.4

Fri: 21.1

Sat: 25

Sun: 19.9

We need 1/2 price nights. We probably need more of them.

But we need effective policies in place to make them more family-friendly.

1) No less than $100.00 fines for any fan throwing anything on the field (including baseballs).

2) No less than $100.00 fine for any fan involved in any altercation.

Needless to say the team & the city must be making a considerable profit in concessions, parking, & bevs on 1/2 price night because there is no talk of getting rid of them. So this is a problem that will most likely be curbed over time with effective policies. Fans are guests of the SOX & that gives the SOX the right to impose fine for improper behavior.

Any body watching CLTV?  He mentioned that Berman from ESPN called SOX fans the worst in baseball.

I did watch that and everyone knows how I feel against Berman. Hell, I expressed my feelings about him in this post here: http://www.soxtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=18710

you know, we're not the only ones who can't stand the drunks...the small contingent of true, die-hard cubs fans is pretty resentful of the majority of the patrons of their park too...i think there was a letter in the tribune from a cubs fan today b****ing about how all most people do is go to wrigley to drink and don't give a damn about the game.
