June 4, 200421 yr This has been an awesome game. It's halfway through the first OT right now, 2-2. It's been just an awesome game up to this point. Tampa Bay's stadium looks like, was it the Winnepeg White Out? They're all wearing these white Tampa Bay Lightning shirts, it's crazy. What a game.

June 4, 200421 yr That was a crazy game, too close for comfort. The Flames had tons of chances and Tampa got a cheap goal from St. Louis. Awesome goal by Goaleg though, he was makin stuff happen all game. Gotta wrap it up in the Saddledome

Gotta wrap it up in the Saddledome When Kiprusoff (sp?) went out in OT and dove to play that puck that was about five feet in front of the crease, and the puck went by the post by mere inches, I didn't breathe for that couple of seconds. It was that damn close, lol.
June 4, 200421 yr Spiff, that Iginla goal was a weak goal as well, way 'cheaper' than St. Louis'. Khabibulin just completely misplayed it. That was a very good game, let's see if Tampa can show up for more than one period in game 6, Khabibulin saved their ass.

That was a ridiculous shot, he had 4 inches of room to put that puck in and he got it done. To call that a weak goal is assanine.
June 4, 200421 yr I have to say, I've been trying to watch this series and get into it ( since it's most likely the last NHL hockey we'll see for a while ), but I really couldn't care less who wins. I don't know what it is, but this series is lacking something. I was flipping over to the BRAVES game, of all things, last night. It just isn't grabbing my interest at all. Odd.....

Yes it's a weak goal, Khabibulin takes one step out to play the angle and it's stopped. Or if he doesn't think it's going wide and actually moves his blocker, it's stopped. While it was an accurate shot, it was totally Khabibulin's fault and that angle shot should never go in. He didn't 'beat' him.
