June 14, 200421 yr yup, its really a moot point now that players are so far ahead. I guess all we can do now is hope Joe Torre comes to his senses, which i'll do now: me>

June 14, 200421 yr Author Any chance Thomas or Lee are on the 32nd man vote if Torre is a dumbass again and picks all Yankees?
June 14, 200421 yr I voted the maximum number of times in just 7 minutes. If anyone is going to vote, make sure to vote Bonds Griffey Berkman in the NL so Sosa gets knocked out.
June 14, 200421 yr Any chance Thomas or Lee are on the 32nd man vote if Torre is a dumbass again and picks all Yankees? I voted forever on that last year for Frank, we're simply out numbered. If there's a Red Sox or Yankee on that 32nd man vote again; we're screwed.
June 14, 200421 yr I voted the maximum number of times in just 7 minutes. If anyone is going to vote, make sure to vote Bonds Griffey Berkman in the NL so Sosa gets knocked out. No BONDS!!! vote for someone who deserves it like Craig Wilson..
June 14, 200421 yr I voted forever on that last year for Frank, we're simply out numbered. If there's a Red Sox or Yankee on that 32nd man vote again; we're screwed. Varitek won it last year, and Damon the year before because of me... haha.
June 14, 200421 yr Varitek won it last year, and Damon the year before because of me... haha. :headshake
June 14, 200421 yr -- don't tell me Varitek didn't deserve it... Yeah, and Frank didn't deserve to play in front of the home fans at USCF......
June 14, 200421 yr Yeah, and Frank didn't deserve to play in front of the home fans at USCF...... If I remember correctly, Frank wasn't on the list... and don't get mad at me.. it was Torre who picked Carl Everett over Frank as back-up DH, not me..
June 14, 200421 yr Thomas' numbers in 2003, at the ASB: AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB HBP SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 301 46 81 23 0 20 48 64 8 66 0 0 .269 .407 .545 .952
June 14, 200421 yr If I remember correctly, Frank wasn't on the list... and don't get mad at me.. it was Torre who picked Carl Everett over Frank as back-up DH, not me.. Yes, Frank was on the list. He finished 2nd.
June 14, 200421 yr ...and Variteks: .306 average, 16 homers, 56 rbi, .957 OPS Varitek had the better numbers, although its a stupid argument. Varitek should have been in over Hernandez, and Frank the same over Everett.
June 14, 200421 yr Thomas' numbers in 2003, at the ASB: AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB HBP SO SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 301 46 81 23 0 20 48 64 8 66 0 0 .269 .407 .545 .952 Varitek did have much better numbers than Frank but i still voted a ton for frank
June 14, 200421 yr Varitek did have much better numbers than Frank but i still voted a ton for frank Looking at what redandwhite just posted, they were basically about the same w/ the exception of BA. You have to remember what Boston's offense was last year, and what the White Sox offense was in the first half of 2003. That had to hurt Thomas' RBI numbers a little bit, and help Vartiek's.
