just wanted to take a moment of silence for the guy who brought us to his neighborhood when we were kids.......mr. rogers has passed away and moved on to that big neighborhood in the sky.............three dings on the trolly bell please............

It's a sad sad day in the neighborhood.

This is terrible! I loved that show!!! RIP, Mr. Rogers.

Does this mean King Friday is dead too?

He can live forever in your own Make Believe land.

I've seen a few tapes of his show and all I can say is this: what a gentle and friendly voice to the tots. Especially considering in place of gentle and wise instruction, so-called "childrens television" today are bombarding little ones with agressive stimulation that riles them up and makes them crave the marketing tie-ins. Sad.

Tom Junod wrote a piece for Esquire called, "Fred... Can You Say Hero?" a few years back. Very interesting.

RIP Mr. Rogers.

World lost a good man, heaven is waiting for you, this time you get to ride the trolley........RIP :D
