June 18, 200421 yr Marte pitched his ass off. He was completely in command for the two innings he pitched. I know we lost, but I felt a need to start a positive thread about the game.

June 18, 200421 yr I was going to post something similar to this. Marte is definitely showing promise as our "closer of the future." He for sure has the stuff and the control for it. The only thing we have to see is if he has the fearlessness and intimidation factor that you need to be truly dominant. Does Marte remind anybody else of a young, lefty Flash Gordon?
