in todays trib, they had the two beat writers...although, how long had bob foltman been doing sox beat writing, for some reason i thought it was teddy greenstein that did ours....anyways, they had the two beat writers write letters to each other on what has happened with their clubs and what to expect...the cubs later was very optimistic, while our beat writer said many things that made me angry, none worse than "ozzie said not to worry, and knowing sox fans, they aren't, they probably packed it in in may...its never to early to wait for the bears"

that infuriated me. He's talking about the same fans who stuck by their team down by what...six games at the all star break last year and nearly everyone felt we could pull it off, and we almost did...what have sox fans done to make him feel like that?

He's a cubs beat reporter. He's used to writing "wait til next year" columns in April.

was he...paul sullivan wrote the pro-cubs letter because he's their beat writer...foltman was supposed to write the sox letter...but he basically bashed everyone.

Maybe that beat writer reads the Sox message boards and is reporting what he is reading.
