You're gonna have to do a lotta weeping. Its basically 1% per minute. It amazes me that a Windows 98 could be this slow. I've been thinking of getting a new comp for a while now, but never quite got down to it.

Get a Dell for like 500 bucks. They come with a monitor and everything and are like 2 ghz or so. It would be everything you need and more.

Plus you get XP which rocks.

-Nunez seems to be impressing. I think Armando Rios pinch hit for Colon so his day is over. I heard them mention his name flying out so I'm assuming thats what happened.

-Runners on 1st and 3rd

-Jimenez pops up to short left field

-Graffy gets aboard and the bases are now juiced with 2 outs

-Reynoso is pulled from the game

Magg's flies out with the bases juiced.

Its still 3-0 as far as I know.

Maggs grounded out to Womack at short, in fact. Also, the D-Backs have 1 run. Buehrle is now pitching.

Buerhle enters the game now

He relieves Colon who pitched very good today.

How did they get the run?

  • Author

Sox go scoreless in the top of the 5th.

-Konerko doubled, no one else did a thing

Buerhle gives up a double to Little to start the inning.

I'm not sure how they got the run, but they said it was 3-1.

Buerhle keeps falling behind of hitters so far.

-But he gets out of the inning scoreless.

Konerko's having a pretty good ST up to this point....he had that last year and he put up an incredible first half. Let's hope he keeps it up throughout the whole year this year.

100%! ahh the joy..well, that took exactly an hour, sooner than i expected

I seriously need that Dell

CPU speed and computer specs don't effect download speed. Your modem speed, which is probably 28.8 or 56k from the looks of it is your problem.

Convince your parents to splurge for DSL or Cable :D

-Miles had a basehit or something

-Hummel has now entered the game and is playing 3rd

-Ginter has came in to pitch

-Morales came in as well

-Ginter pitched really good in the inning.

-Hummel had a bad throw to 3rd and Daubach dug it out and tried to make the tag but couldn't do it; they ruled it a hit though.

-One hit, no runs.

Sox still up 3-1

DSL, thats what I've been begging for. But I have heard many people complain about DSL problems and how sometimes it doesnt work.

I got Cox High Cable Connection. Its like 34.95 a month. I'm not sure what you have in your area though. It could be roadrunner or something.

Get DSL. Cable is a b**** if you live in a very populated area.

DSL speeds depend on how far away you live from your CO (Central Office). Usual range from CO to the maximum limit is roughly 18,000 feet. Speeds will depend on your wiring in your house, and how far away you live from the CO. With DSL, you usually get a pretty stable connection; around 680 down kbps for me (which is 80 KB/s, roughly). With Cable, you are on a shared network, unlike DSL which is your own personal line. The more people who get on your node, the worse your downloads will get. That is why Cable usually comes to a crashing halt at night because of people downloading stuff (porn).

Check out http://www.dslreports.com to see if an ISP is available nearby. Hope that helps.

Jon Adkins on to pitch..wow this is clear, glad to hear Rooney and Farmers voice again :headbang

Jon Adkins has came in.

DBACKS score a run in the eight off Adkins so its 3-2 Sox now.

Adkins gives up a RBI single. Koch is warming up for the 9th

  • Author

Borchard makes a catch at the wall, real nice play to save a run or two.

Adkins gives up a run in the inning and got hit hard.

Koch will be coming in for the 9th.

3-2 Sox entering the top of the 9th

Adkins blows!!!  :puke

Borchard probably saved his ass with a nice deep field catch. It'll sure be nice to see how Koch does in his first save opportunity.

Mario Valenzuala comes in to pinch hit. I love this guy, i hope somehow he eventually gets an opportunity. He crushed the ball last spring and then got hurt.

He pops it up to 3rd to end the inning, now its KOCH time!!!!
