I LOVE the idea of getting Jones/Ortiz for Maggs/Rauch.

While we are dreaming my outfield would be:

LF- C. Lee CF- AROW RF- Carl Crawford...

That is an outfield that could play Ozzie's kind of ball....

Maggs while he may be good is too expensive to keep and i'd much rather see him go then morgage the teams future by tying up most of the teams salary with him...

I want Magglio to stay but if the price is too high then go with Andrew Jones.

 

If he says no to 5/70 mil then he can leave for all I care. I'm sick of players whining about money.

Carl Crawford, young, fast, and a good hitter. He is cheap also.

Fine, then I would consider Andruw Jones note to the fact that he can hit for power, and is a good fielder.

Jones is already signed for the next 3 years at the highest being 13.5mil

 

So we would never even have to worry about a contract, especially cause Atlanta will probably eat some of the salary.

 

Hes a long term solution, that plays a position that is harder to fill.

 

Id love to have Crawford I just dont see him being traded.
