Asking about restrictions in offseason...Kenny says this in no way shape or form does this eliminate a magglio signing...says he told maggs that personally...won't talk about the "exact offer" made to Maggs thus far. It's in no one's best interest for that information to get out

 

The relationship between them is not as bad as people think it is, their is friendship on both sides. He's amazed about the bad talk out there over the air waves and such.

 

Coaches are good communicators...players and coaches are constantly communicating about expectations and what is on everyone's mind

All star talk...rest for guys who didn't make it is nice, but he wants those guys to receive accolades for what they've done, says konerko thomas buehrle garcia belong there, maybe even uribe. You could make a case for Maggs he says

 

Talking about what he's looking for...says the players need a pat on the back for encouragement so he doesn't want to say what he's working on and what specific position. Doesn't want to make anyone uncomfortable or something that hurts the ball club.

 

Says the Cubs series is over, at least we beat minnesota, gives credit to cubs pitchers. Hopefully it's behind them and they can go on a roll now.

No need to post a new topic but KW was also on the Score this afternoon (About 4:30) and reading the recap of his AM 1000 interview it was pretty much exactly the same thing...

 

Only thing I can add is that he really stressed in the Score interview that he personally talked to Maggs about Garcia's signing, he wanted to make sure he heard it from him and that it in no way changes his situation (I know it was in the AM 1000 interview recap, but he REALLY stressed it when I heard the Score interview)
