"unconfirmed" reports by the AP quote a high pakastani official as saying sons of osama bin laden have been captured in south east afghanastan...if this is true this great news and my guess is arrests would link directly back khalid shiekh mohammed and the data they found with him....we could very well be closing in on osama himself

this story has now been confirmed by other news agencies..it was a joint pakastani and US military operation...the two sons were named saad and hazma...saad is bin laden's number one son...if he is one of the sons caught then osama can not be far behind...osama's 2 sons that are in the family business so to speak are saad and mohammed....wherever osama goes these two are right with him...if this turns out to be true then osama has to be very close...

It's nice to be making progress in our search for these camel-loving killers. If the reports are true (and they appear to be), bin Laden himself could be next to fall. It would be excellent to see bin Laden and Saddam go down in a matter of weeks. Here's to hopin'.

i think they got somebody..because normally al qaeda when confronted with that much fire power just gives up and doesnt fight back...they were protecting somebody high up on the food chain in al qaeda...wouldnt it be something if they actually got bin laden himself???..think about it...if they did get bin laden the US sure wouldnt confirm it until they got him out of afghanastan...im pretty sure they got somebody

Maybe its something. But I dont think theyll catch bin Laden. I think hell die in battle or at his own hand...

I don't think the US will announce it when and if they get bin Laden. That would just stir up the muslim extremists in the world and get them looking for revenge at every opportunity.
