July 12, 200421 yr I want to email this idea to Brooks Boyer, now that the Sox are being more aggressive towards the other team in town. For the 7th inning stretch, while the other team in town is having every half-ass "celebrity" they can find desecrate Harry Caray's memory by butchering Take Me Out To The Ballgame, how about the Sox showing some classic Harry on the big screen to remind people where that storied tradition REALLY CAME FROM??? Maybe try to find the first televised rendition of Harry singing it at Comiskey Park Classic, and put that information on the screen too. Whattya think? I think it's time to Take Back What's Ours!!! SOX PRIDE!!!! It's About US!
July 12, 200421 yr Would have been cool during the crosstown series to have that playing, get the cubs fans all giddy and stupid and then have them hear Caray say "root, root root for the White Sox", but aside from that, Harry Caray is a Cubs icon and quite frankly I don't want him back, they can keep him. I'm fine with "play it Nancy!"
