If things go wrong-pitching wise that is?

Ok guys I dont mean to be a pessimist but just what if our pitching doesnt do well with Wright's condition pending and the search for the number 5 starter didnt give us anything to be excited about (dont trust Loaiza) who can we trade for? Who is going to be available for trades during the season? I am trying to look for free agent pitchers after this season that might be on the trading block but I cant find anything.

Also, without too much thinking (available or not even on dreams), who do you guys want to get? For me, I would say a young and proven pitcher will be a good addition. I like Damian Moss of the Giants.

i would not mind getting kevin brown if la paid most of his salary, 15 mill is about 13 mill to much. or brad penny or Burnett or J Beckett(i think the 3 florida pitchers are available once they are eliminate plus throw in some cash and they will trade anyone

It's way too early for that kind of speculation.

Sidney Ponson. The Orioles are looking to dump him and he hasn't really lived up to his hype. I think they could figure a way to get him if needed.

I don't wanna think about that now. I say worry abouth the problem when it comes time to deal with it and when it is a definete situation.

If the pitching doesn't hold up this season can be flushed down the s***ter...

Only if our pitching this year is that bad, which it doesn't look like it s going to be.

Buehrle, Colon, Garland, and Loizia make up a pretty solid staff right now... That's assuming tho, that Esteban and Jon stay at the level they are at all year... Kind of a risk...

As for the bullpen, I don't see 6 or 7 dependable guys right now... Good to see Wunsch has been lights out.

The pitching will be all right, IMO, but it's looking more and more like we're going to need a Minnesota meltdown.

That's really a no-brainer. If the pitching doesn't hold up, we won't win. That's not exactly quantum physics.
