Just a Feeling...

Featured Replies

I just wanted to get this down on record. I didn't feel all that good when Minny swept up at home coming into the series, but for the first time in a while (and not just because of this game), I have a good feeling about this team. Don't worry, I'm not going overboard and saying we're going to win 30 out of 37 and make the playoffs, but I think we're going to sweep Cleveland. Again - JMHO, that's how I feel.

I just wanted to get this down so I can brag if I'm right, or run and hide if I'm wrong. :D

I wish I shared your optimism. If there is anything 2001-2004 has taught us is that Sabathia is going to toss a 2-hitter against us tomorrow.

Sox do not have the talent or heart or smarts to play .700 ball the rest of the way. Not even close.

Jeremy, I don't think he thinks that we'll play .700 ball and make the playoffs.

I think what he's suggesting is that we'll play like we did down the stretch in 2002...when we were way out of the race, with no pressure on us. IIRC, we played very well down the stretch, and Frank hit about .390 in September of that year.

Note again, when there was no pressure on the team.

However, this team is not very good against lefties...I too have a feeling tomorrow could be ugly.

Saw the Twinkies against the Rangers today. Mulholland got KILLED on the mound today, Rangers hit him hard, even all the singles and base hits were all very hard hits. They play the Angels now, and in the 1st 2 games against them they hav Radke and Santana on the mound. It'll be interestin to watch to say the least.
