After examining my brackets I chose Kentucky, Arizona, U-Conn, and Louisville for my Final Four, and Kentucky over Lousiville in the finals. Some of my big early upsets are, Weber St. over Wisconsin, Wisconsin-Milwaukee over ND, Butler over Mississippi St. and Penn over Oklahoma St. I also have Mizzou and Creighton as surprise Elite 8 teams. Anybody have some sleeper picks? by the way DePaul vs. NC in the NIT tonight

Creighton over Duke, maybe, but over Kansas also? Ehhhhhhhhh

I like your Mizzou pick, they are hot right now.

See, i think Miss St. could make a run at the final four, so i don't think Butler will oust them. They gave kentucky a helluva game.

I question louisville in the final four...they stumbled down the stretch, and i don't know if they'll get by Miss St, but who knows, Pitino is a damn good coach.

Most of your upset picks are pretty solid. I kind of like Tulsa over Dayton, but who knows.

I think ND gets things together and gets through their first round game and beats Illinois and then goes down.

I'll have to look my bracket over and check all my upset picks, but I had quite a few.

My final four was Oklohoma, Pitt, Arizona, and Maryland with Arizona winning it all. I have Uconn going pretty deep.

My final four picks are Arizona, Kentucky, Syracuse and Xavier (that's right Xavier!!!!)

I also picked Creighton over Duke. (I hate Duke)!

While I didn't pick them, I wouldn't be shocked to see Notre Dame make a run to the Sweet Sixteen or Elite 8... The reason they slip recently is more than likely fatique, as their sparkplug Chris Thomas is only a sophomore. They've had a week off.

I don't know, but they could.

Of course, don't tell Koch that... LOL... ESPN. I can't get over it.

My final four as we speak is Maryland Terrapins in the South, Syracuse Orangemen in the East (they play in Albany in the regionals), Kentucky Wildcats in the Midwest, and Kansas in the West. Kentucky and Maryland advance to the finals and as I reluctantly type this the Wildcats some how beat the tournament tested Terps. I don't know how I just typed that it hurt! (I'm a huge Terp fan)

DePaul wins by 4 tonite by the way!

Kentucky is too perfect of a pick, I don't trust them.

Fatigue, or playing like s***, you decide.

Apparently doublem(oron) knows more than all the espn folks who follow this stuff like it's their job...oh wait it is...if you think you are proving some great point, you aren't, as we all know you aren't above espn, though you seem to think you are. Now that's hilarious

LOL! ESPN's "experts" are never wrong are they? They also have people who's jobs are to know college football. Do you, by any chance, recall who the majority of ESPN's experts were picking to slaughter Ohio St. in the championship game? How 'bout Peter Gammons? [sarcasmColor]We all know how dead on he always is.[/sarcasmColor]

Face it, the 1st round of the tourney is very often a crap shoot. Sometimes struggling teams carry their late season struggles into the tourney & get bounced right away. Other times they get new life - starting over from scratch in the tourney & make a decent run. I've seen both sides of this happen. I've also seen the "hot team" come into the "Big Dance" after tearing through their conference tourney on a big roll, only to burn out & choke in the 1st round. This is obviously not as common.

I think ND gets things together and gets through their first round game and beats Illinois and then goes down.

I hope UW-Milwaukee plays Western KY because that would get the biggest whiners out of the tournament fast.

Since 12s beat 5s a lot, ND is probably the surer bet to lsoe in the 1st round.

I would also suggest to everyone that Central Michigan is better than you all think. They may not beat creighton but it is not the easy game everyone is assuming.

Dude... Half the posters here are more intelligent than ESPN writers.

only half?

More like 90% to me. :headbang

Reality. I'm much more willing to accept the opinions of most of the posters here than I am the guys who work at ESPN.

Well, I picked quite a few upsets as I have Kentucky, Duke Miss St and Maryland in the final four. I had to pick KY to win it all though. I live there and would have been shot for treason had I not. LOL .... Another upset I picked is WKU over the Fighting Illini. :D

I only said they "may not" beat Creighton.

Just wanted to say - all of you who picked against Central Michigan, I tried to tip you!

:headbang  :headbang

just bumping up the CMU tip because the Marine helicopter crash has me all stressed right now

I just like bringing this up!

may they beat Duke too?

my heart says they may

my brain says they may not

but my gut says go for it

Go Chips!

The ND fans might not be posting this because they don't need a jinx, but I could care less about either team so, Good first half Illinois........Not.

by the way, the Chippewas vibe is big time today.

Central Michigan over Duke.

And when Illinois plays ND I don't want anyone to win!

Regardless of what I want, I am pulling big time for the Illini out of Big 10 loyalty.

Come on Illinois pull this sucker out!
