White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is scheduled to attend SoxFest 2005, the 13th annual White Sox fan convention, along with current players, including Jon Garland, Freddy Garcia, Willie Harris, Paul Konerko and Aaron Rowand.

The event will be held Jan. 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Dr. Dates and times are: Friday, Jan.14, 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 16, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $15 (Friday or Sunday) or $20 (Saturday), and weekend passes are $40. Children under 4 are free with a paid adult admission. For information or hotel reservations, call the SoxFest hotline at 312-565-0769. Tickets are also available online at www.whitesox.com and through Ticketmaster phone lines at 866-SOX-GAME.

Other current players and coaches scheduled to attend are Harold Baines, Joe Borchard, Jamie Burke, Neal Cotts, Joe Crede, Ben Davis, Carl Everett, Cliff Politte, Tim Raines, Juan Uribe and Greg Walker. General manager Ken Williams, executive advisor Roland Hemond, announcers Darrin Jackson, Ken "Hawk" Harrelson, John Rooney, Ed Farmer and Southpaw, the White Sox mascot, also will be in attendance.

Former White Sox manager Tony LaRussa will be attendance on Jan. 15. He will sign autographs and participate in an informational seminar. The White Sox request a $5 donation for each autograph he signs, which will benefit his favorite charity, the Animal Rescue Foundation.

Man I gotta get my ass out to SoxFest this year.

Too bad Buehrle isn't on there.

Is it like allowed just to go down as 2 kids and have a room, without adult supervision?

Willie, last year my friend and I had one of are parents drive us down there, they checked us into the room and just left, so we just stayed in the hotel by ourselves, it was a pretty amazing time, can't wait for it this year. :)

Alright, awesome.

Now I just gotta hope my mom agrees with it. :pray
