December 4, 200421 yr Don't leave out the name Bobby Petrino in all of this. I know aboz thinks there is no way in hell he'd leave Louisville, but Louisville is not Notre Dame. Hell, Petrino was entertaining the idea of going back to Auburn a year ago. I had heard this morning, that Florida was going to go hard after Petrino before their most recent coup with Meyer.

A couple days ago they said Tubberville was gonna possibly end up at Florida with Petrino going to Auburn. I'd definately like Petrino.
December 4, 200421 yr Tuberville has a great program going at Auburn, but could still be peeved at Auburn trying to get Petrino as coach last offseason. I wouldn't expect Petrino to leave Louisville for ND though, again because of his academic freedoms that he enjoys at Louisville that ND wouldn't touch with a 10 foot stick. It could end up being very tough for ND to sign a top flight coach unless ND takes a softer stance on admissions. All the major coaches in college football enjoy the ability to plug-in JUCO's when they have holes on the team, Cal, USC, OU, etc all do it.
