And I don't care if he makes 50 errors as long as he's doing other things to help the team win and overcome those miscues.

I would certainly care if he made 50 errors and would want him striken from a WS uniform forever if he does that.

Not laughing, just grimmacing - I would love for him to go errorless (too late for that for this season) - my only real problem is all the exalting of Valentin as if he were god's gift to the WS, which he certainly is not. He has his pros and his cons, like everyone, but the sainthood that some would confer on him gets to me. And then he makes an error first play of the season - damn.
