December 7, 200421 yr From Media Week take it with a grain or two of salt. They obviously have a dog in this fight. Still it makes for interesting reading. It also points out how by banding together, individuals amplify their voices. Should someone's opinion be somehow different if they join together as part of a group? Do these groups bring in individuals that really aren't that strong in their beliefs?
December 7, 200421 yr IMO, it's a street gang mentality. Or, a flock of sheep taking orders from an alpha-male type of leader who holds some unnatural power over their puny minds. These people feel the need to tell others how to live their lives, and I'd be willing to bet that 99.8% of these busybodies are huge hypocrites who take their kids to AHHHNULD movies where people get shot full of holes and s*** blows up everywhere you look, but to see a BOOBIE is the most unspeakable horror in history. These finger-pointers probably blame their own weaknesses on the media instead of looking in the mirror and working out whatever problem it is that causes them to feel like they have to save the world, even if the world doesn't want or need to be saved. ...other than THAT, though, they're great people doing very noble work.....
December 7, 200421 yr I have to say, that when my kids were growing up, if they happened to walk into the room when I was watching something of a mature nature, I'd much rather have them see a man kiss a woman's breast, than him cut it off or stab it.
December 7, 200421 yr Author I have to say, that when my kids were growing up, if they happened to walk into the room when I was watching something of a mature nature, I'd much rather have them see a man kiss a woman's breast, than him cut it off or stab it. neither works for me. But I agree, I prefer them seeing mild sex scenes to graphic violence.
