Update: Thanks to Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton (D) Charles Schumer (D) and Congressman Hinchey (D), the Army has dropped its billing request of the amputee soldier and chalked it up to a "billing snafu."

 

Big ups to the soldiers' congressional reps for supporting the troops in their own constituency.
