Is it possible that KW has opened the cap space to sign Varitek? Rumors have surroudned Peirzinsky but Varitek is still out there. We have 8 million, so, we'll have to wait and see.

    I think a starting pitcher is more of a priority than a catcher. Varitek's Sox won't be white.

    I'll take the 28 yo catcher any day of the week. Plus, he can get under the skin of the Twins when we play them.
