If clement was signed tomorrow...

If Clement was the only other addition this offseason to the tune of $32-36 M for 4 Years, would this offseason be a success? 80 members have voted

As Ralphies teacher in A Christmas Story would say....

A+++++++++++++++

That was just a dream. Besides, you'll shoot your eye out! :D

Clement = B offseason

HUDSon = B+

AJ burnett+Hudson+Gibbbons+Polanco= A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Also I finally have respect for KW, fo actaully putting a team that can actually compete with the NY and Bos in the playoffs.

Sign Clement>>B+

(still need a catcher)

Sign Pierzinski as well>>A

Then we would have a better team than last year

Gone>>Carlos Lee, Magglio Ordonez, Jose Valentin

In>>Scott Podsednik, Luis Vizcaino, Jermaine Dye, Matt Clement,

AJ Pierzinski

This would be an awesome offseason

Out of curiosity what money is AJ gonna get?

For some reason I think AJ got 4 or 5 million last year..I have no idea how we would afford him if we signed clement...

Ok, enough with this A.J. kick.

Where has Kenny shown any interest in this guy? I'll leave everyone alone about it when I see a source, but Steff and others in the Sox organization have said Davis will be the starting C in 2005.

I just really want to see some sort of source that indicates Kenny has targeted AJ. People have made it seem that this off-season will be a failure if he isn't brought in, and although I agree catcher is a position of weakness for the Sox, we have other pressing needs that Kenny has/will adress. I think there is a snowball's chance in hell of AJ being on this team.
