Anyone ever tried Theraflu?

Featured Replies

(I think that is what it is called... lol  )

I woke up not feeling so well so I want to try something to help prevent me from feeling any worse. I plan on picking up some vitamin C tablets and Brian suggested usinng Theraflu. I know it is supposed to taste bad, but does it help preventing/getting over flu/bad cold?

Thanks!

Nasty, nasty stuff! Worked like a charm for me, though!

I like it

My wife hates it, she said it made things worse.

That makes 3 people that it worked for...I guess I will have to try it.

It works, it just tastes like crap. Maybe if you put some honey in it, it wouldn't taste so bad.

Didn't want to start a new thread...

I have a nasty awful cold and was wondering if someone could recommend the best thing for it? I've been doing lots of Vitamin C, ecinacea (sp?), and Cold-Eaze, but am ready to give up my natural homeopathic route for something else--I am looking at a 13 hour train ride and would really appreciate any recommendations...

Dr.s will tell you that once you HAVE a cold, you can't really put the brakes on it. The best thing is prevention through a regular shedule of the stuff you've been taking.

As for the train ride, find a friend who might have 'something' ;) to knock you out.

I've always found with colds and flus that if you can bear it for 1 or 2 days (and your schedule allows) don't take anything... You will feel like complete ass for those days, but then it will be over with. I find that when I take medication for them they linger for 1-2 weeks...

I tried it. It knocked me out for about 2 hrs and then I tossed and turned all night, but it did take away the aches and pains as well as the phlegm (sp?).
