December 21, 200421 yr (I think that is what it is called... lol ) I woke up not feeling so well so I want to try something to help prevent me from feeling any worse. I plan on picking up some vitamin C tablets and Brian suggested usinng Theraflu. I know it is supposed to taste bad, but does it help preventing/getting over flu/bad cold? Thanks!

Worked like a charm for me, though!
December 21, 200421 yr Author That makes 3 people that it worked for...I guess I will have to try it.
December 21, 200421 yr It works, it just tastes like crap. Maybe if you put some honey in it, it wouldn't taste so bad.
December 23, 200421 yr Didn't want to start a new thread... I have a nasty awful cold and was wondering if someone could recommend the best thing for it? I've been doing lots of Vitamin C, ecinacea (sp?), and Cold-Eaze, but am ready to give up my natural homeopathic route for something else--I am looking at a 13 hour train ride and would really appreciate any recommendations...

Dr.s will tell you that once you HAVE a cold, you can't really put the brakes on it. The best thing is prevention through a regular shedule of the stuff you've been taking. As for the train ride, find a friend who might have 'something' to knock you out.
December 23, 200421 yr I've always found with colds and flus that if you can bear it for 1 or 2 days (and your schedule allows) don't take anything... You will feel like complete ass for those days, but then it will be over with. I find that when I take medication for them they linger for 1-2 weeks...
December 23, 200421 yr Author I tried it. It knocked me out for about 2 hrs and then I tossed and turned all night, but it did take away the aches and pains as well as the phlegm (sp?).
