January 11, 200521 yr whats up. i just wanted to see your opinions on who i should keep for my Keeper Baseball league. we are able to keep up to 17 players (yes, i know its alot). keep in mind: - starters: C, 1b, 2b, 3b, SS, 4 OF, UTL, 5 SP, 3 RP - Craig wilson WONT be eligible for C next year the definete keepers: - delgado - luis castillo - Renteria - mora - abreau - manny - c lee - maggs - hudson - lawerance - vasquez - isringhausen that leaves 5 more keepers out of the following: Wilson, Craig A. 1B PIT Wright, David 3B NYM Rowand, Aaron CF CHW Washburn, Jarrod SP ANA Westbrook, Jake RP CLE Takatsu, Shingo RP CHW Wilkerson, Brad B. 1B MON Utley, Chase 2B PHI DeJesus, David CF KC Monroe, Craig LF DET Blake, Casey 3B CLE Millar, Kevin 1B BOS Lowry, Noah RP SF Wolf, Randy SP PHI Julio, Jorge RP BAL Lopez, Rodrigo RP BAL Miller, Wade SP HOU i'm leaning towards keeping: - rowand - shingo - w. miller - c wilson - d. wright do you agree on my 'definete' keepers? how bout the guys im 'leaning towards'? what would you change?
January 12, 200521 yr i feel like rowand would be a good choice i dont know if he can start the year off as hot as he ended it but he seems solid, i also feel jason washburn will have another good year, if he stays injury free, and craig wilson sure can smack the ball around.
January 12, 200521 yr also... david Wright is a personal favoirte of mine, and i think the way he played last year in his breif apperance is a window that he will be a big contributer to that mets offence.
January 12, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) Two people in your league? no, there are 10 people. but most of the other teams are alot younger...my team is definetly one of the oldest. i didnt do enough research in my first keeper league, so while guys were drafting people like marcus giles and miguel cabrera in the first 3 rounds, i was drafting the the more established players. it wasnt until the 6th round or so before i caught onto this. so you live and learn. thanks for the input backman. wright did play pretty well, and with the addition of beltran, and maybe even delgado, he can possibly produce at an even higher level than before. just hopefully he doesnt get the sophomore jinx.
