The Critic
http://www.thehockeynews.com/en/headlines/...?id=26748&cat=8 One thing he missed is the fact that sales of NHL merchandise is down 85% from last year. And why not?? Who the hell is gonna fork over 100+ bucks for a jersey of a team whose owners can't be bothered to start a season or negotiate with players THEY locked out?? It's even hit home for me - my wife and I have a standing Valentine's Day gift deal every year - she gets a spa visit, I get a hockey jersey. This year I passed on the jersey and will instead apply that cash to the TV I got around Christmas. I just don't feel like buying a shirt of a team that's not playing, unless that team is the Hartford Whalers. And as I've said before, if the NHL tries to use replacement players next season, I'll watch on TV but NO WAY will I drop one dollar for a game ticket. southsider2k5
I agree 100%. The only way I will go to an NHL game in the near future is if it is free. And it doesn't matter when they come back from the strike, or whose fault it is. I hope all of the owners go bankrupt.
