hey jason, mario, et el.....just a heads up to everyone.... i recieved a weird email from a bjcres@soxnet.com (whoever in the hell that is i dont know) it had "excecution time for sox fans" in the subject line.... i assume it came from someone here or who uses the soxnet email system or imitated it........anyhow i just deleted it because i didnt recognize the email addy.....i figured maybe it was cfs playing around???? someone may want to check into it.........i tried to get you on im jason but you never have the damn thing on lol....so i figured i would give heads up to you here........

Thats not one of our addies, we are a .net so I'm not sure who it is.

its prob a email virus that works on someone old address book.

did you check to see it you have a virus. i think its the "elkhorn" virus.

we are soxnet.net michelle, and nobody has that e-mail address.

email addresses can be easily hidden. look at the proporites next time. you dont even have to open it. Just right click on the name and hit proporties. it will tell you where it originally came from unless they're real good.

Hackers can do that stuff all the time. A friend of Guido was sending me stuff last year, so when I received an e-mail with his address, I didn't hesitate to open it. Good thing I had a virus scan..... it was a virus that some stupid ass that has nothing better to do but to hack into computer's sent to me using Guidos friend's e-mail address. I also have been TOS'd from AOL numerous times for soliciting porn IM's to people in chat rooms. Only problem is, I wasn't logged on at the time. Someone hacked into AOL's system and got my password. Stuff like this just happens I think.

Sounds pretty deliberate judging by the subject of the email though. Maybe cfs or something. Just faking an email address is pretty easy though like RPS said.

rps ill just send it to you or jason or mario and you guys can decide what it is or what to do with it... it just struck me funny (the subject line)...and i didnt recognize the email addy as someone i know so thats why i deleted it right away... i didnt bother to open it up to see if my virus scan would catch anything or not.....like everything else in the email inbox if i dont know it i dont open it......i just figured i would pass it along to you all in case anyone else got something weird.........
