Kip Wells had his second subpar outing in a row today. In the Pirates home opener he only lasted 4 innings and walked 7. He was only charged with one earned run but looked positively awful as the Pirates lost their home opener for the ninth time in ten years. Royce Clayton went 1 for 5 with an RBI but left 5 men on base and was caught stealing.
