February 21, 200521 yr Ozzie's great... Iguchi's biggest adjustment in the United States could be playing for a livewire such as Guillen, as opposed to the stoic leaders in Japan. As Iguchi waited to talk with the English-speaking press Monday, Guillen approached the group and asked Iguchi, "Do you speak English?" When Iguchi answered with just a smile, Guillen responded, "Don't worry. Neither do I." It didn't take long for the second baseman to feel at home, the final destination of a journey that included one stop in Japan and one in Los Angeles on Sunday. "I saw him smile," Guillen said of Iguchi. "Last year, I didn't see Shingo smile until the last two weeks, three weeks of the season. But he's smiling and he understands. He wants to come to the States and show people he can play here."
