Well I might be too old to appreciate the lyrical mastery of fifty cent and the game....but I've always thought Nas was lyrically the best rapper ever...I'm not saying he is the best rapper I put Tupac, Biggie and Jay ahead of him...but lyrically Nas is the best.

 

As for the past year, Kanye's album is by FAR the best rap to come out...all this gunit talk is downright humorous ;)

no question about it. Kanye is tha man. He actually raps about real s*** you can relate to instead of gangsta s***. And it doesnt hurt thats hes from the SouthSide. :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang
