HuskyCaucasian
I recorded an episode of the Daily Show on March 2nd. I was going to use it for a class project on March 17th, but I just got home from work and found out my fiancee just RECORDED OVER IT!!!!!!! It had EXACTLY what we are talking about in the presentation. Is there anywhere I can find it? I really need this. Comedy Central has the show online, but i cant download it and it is not "broadcast quality" so it wouldnt look good on a TV.

I'm assuming you are just looking for a "news" story they showed, right? what topic are you doing it on anyway? I got mine on the 24th, I think. My laptop would work, but i dont have a video out on it and i would have to stream it live but i dont know how to get into the schools wireless network. I am trying to primarily get the story about NBC news screwing up, but I was also looking to get the "International Pamphlet" My group is doing a presentation on “Non-Mainstream” news sources and late night talk shows. HuskyCaucasian
Let this be a warning to all of you. Get a DVR! You can't record over stuff and you actively have to delete an item.

I doubt this, but I wonder if you were to be able to call and buy the tape for that episode. let them know what you need it for. I was gonna say to watch this week and see if it's a replay week, but new episodes.

Just after I posted that, i realized that Comedy Central Reruns a Daily Show episode at 10:30 after the new one. Typically it is the previous day's, but accordign to their website, today's rerun is from March 2. I hope that's right. *crosses fingers*
