March 30, 200521 yr I was looking at a couple teams depth charts and started wondering, if you have the arm to play right, why can't a guy play left? It seems like such and easy switch, yet not many guys do.
March 30, 200521 yr The spin of the ball is the opposite, and it throws players. Some can handle it, many can't. Also LF is usually your weakest arm, as they want someone in RF who can stop a runner from going from 1st to 3rd on a basehit.

Isn't the spin the same, I guess it's the perspective that is different.
